I took Celexa for months and the side effects never stopped, in fact they worsened. It made my anxiety disorder unbearable but it did help my depression. However, I would rather be depressed than to have my anxiety disorder go wild, as it did. Some of the activating ssri's tend to make me anxious and I always give them a few months, unless they make me completely nuts then I go off them sooner.
