Hi Peg-Thanks for responding. Well, when I was diagnosed 6 years ago, I tried quite a few different things, and I can't remember why they didn't work, but they must not have, because I have been on the paxil for about 5 years now. When I went off the paxil, my fibro. didn't seem to get any worse, but my anxiety shot through the roof. I think the anxiety is part of the fibro. because that started around the same time, so paxil definitely helps for that. I am supposed to go pick up this effexor and I am really hesitant. I know it might work great for me, but I have tried so hard to lose the weight that I have, and I pray to God that gaining weight is not a side effect. Did you take the effexor at bedtime??? I don't seem to have a problem falling asleep, it's staying asleep and the dreams I have are extremely vivid. Where do you have most of your fibro pain? How long ago were you diagnosed?
Jennifer
Jennifer, I can really relate. I too have
fibro.
> The effexor put me in a zombie state, but not enough to sleep. I am unable to sleep and also have incredible dreams. I have a crushing pain and I wonder if that is what yours is like? But maybe the effexor will work for you, because I am usually the opposite. Do AD's help any of your other fibro symptoms?
