Ty, from reading your post, I would suggest that you still have not worked through your trauma, and that would probably be the goal for you with or without drugs. I'm going to be specific and recommend you find a therapist who works with EMDR--it can produce miracles in working through the trauma associated with PTSD in a very short time. Success has been empirically documented with combat veterans as well as abuse survivors. You can do a psychobabble search for EMDR for personal experiences and also a net search to find EMDR trained therapists in your area. Look it up and at least learn about it. Shellie
