zyprexa too sedating, what about seroquel?

Posted by Andre Allard on August 2, 2000, at 18:30:18

I am taking 2.5mg of zyprexa for rumination on top of zoloft. The problem is that the zyprexa carries over into the next day and I am a zombie. I take the zyprexa roughly three hours before bed.

I know that seroquel has a shorter half-life then zyprexa and I was wondering whether the sedation with the seroquel would be less because of the shorter half-life.

Does anyone have any experience with these antipsychotics?
