Hi ya'll, this is the first chance I've had to get online for a couple days. The baby is very well and having a great time with her daddy, who is taking some 'at home' vacation time.
Since you asked, here is another poem. Just a warning, though, it is a bit of a 'downer', so don't read it if you're having a bad time right now.
Weeping Willow
In darkness weeps the willow,
he is calling out my name.
I long to find our meadow,
but the path is not the same.In the past lie all my hopes,
dead and buried all my dreams.
I have wept too many tears,
and denied too many screams. In darkness weeps the willow,
for he cannot soothe my pain.
Take me back again I cry,
but my cries are all in vain.See, I told you it was a downer! A thousand brownie points to the first person who figures out what the "willow" is a metaphor, for. Or, if you just want to know the answer, scroll down this post a bit. love, CarolAnn
