Lin,

I am kind of surprised by this reaction because usually Zyprexa has a sedating effect and tends to calm you down. Did the panic attacks start within 2 or 3 days of the Zyprexa? Usually you will get the effects of Zyprexa within this time period?

Also, why did you start Zyprexa? It seems like an odd combination to me - a mood stabilizer with an antipsychotic.

I used to have panic attacks and currently take Zyprexa without any recurrences.

Talk to your pdoc and ask him/her about this reaction.
