I was at an Urgent Care facility over the weekend, and the woman in the bed next to mine had come in to be seen for an elevated HR. It was 105. The doc had her transferred to a local hospital for overnight observation. He said there was a definite danger factor. While 100 may not be dangerous to someone like Cindy (Good morning dear, how are you feeling?) who normally has a high heart rate anyway, it certainly can be for someone whos HR is normally lower. My HR is usually about 70bpm and if mine was 100, I'd want to know why.
