I've wrestled with depression most of my life and am finally thinking of doing something about it. Does anyone have experience with Ritalin and St. John's Wort, Zoloft, or Paxil? Any side effects? My neurologist says they're OK, but there's no recommendation like someone who's been there.

effects at all..In fact the St John's Wort gave me diarrhea.
I don't think it was anything to do with the combo...just
the effect on me of the St Johns...but I do have a bowel
complaint so it may not be the same with you.But it is generally recommended that you do not mix
them...but I took Prozac and Effexor at the same time
too in an effort to get of the horrid Effexor and that
is a definate no no but I did it anyway and it helped
me to get off the Effexor and alleviate its withdrawals.I do not have ADD though.
