I had flu symptoms the entire time I took Effexor. My wrist, elbow and ankle joints ached so badly at times I thought I would cry. I also had muscle pain and tremors. It definitely wasn't the drug for me.

On the positive side, I had absolutely no problems weaning off Effexor.
