I had some joint pain while taking Effexor. My pain has been mostly muscular. It started during withdrawal and has continued even though I've been off the medication for a year. Ibuprofen is an almost daily medication for me now. Somedays the ibuprofen isn't enough either. I was on Effexor/Effexor XR for three years.
