Kathie,
If you dare, take a sniff of American cultural cynicism and you'll know just how little it takes to give people a hardly-deserved bad attitude nowadays.
You've earned the rights to all the bad attitude you can stomach and then some, in my book.
As much as me and my fellow medheds like to remind all y'all about depression being biological, YMMV. Besides, even if the biology is there I think the enviroment has to be hostile, too. So if you think your "depression" is "supposed" to be something "inside" of you and you disagree, you may be right. But your depression isn't necessarily inside of you. Even if your day-to-day existence from today on out was sprinkled with rose petals, you've got a world full of environmental baggage you need to deal with.
So cross your fingers, click your heels three times ... if you've got the attitude (and it sure sounds like you do!) and the energy for a change, AND if you can get your husband and your kids to cooperate or even help, maybe you can jettison some of that baggage and see what's left when the dust clears. I hope you find something fine!
