Lisa, I don't know of any way to lose weight *quickly*--the closest I can come is to tell you that I've noticed that my stomach is flatter when I haven't eaten much the day before. The best way of eating I know of is to cut way back on carbs, eat more protein, allow yourself some good fat (like olive oil), and lots of fruits and veggies. Add regular exercise to this and you will probably drop some weight and keep it off. Strength training is great--it improves the shape of your body, raises your metabolism, . And most importantly, don't worry about food! Having been through just about every eating disorder there is at some point, I can tell you that the most "successful" diet I ever tried was when I stopped worrying about calories and just focused on eating what would be healthy for my body.
