It can be a matter of life or death. I am still not aware of all of the legal considerations in doing this. I have found a great deal of contradictory information on this topic.

My doctor did want me to hang out in his office for a while after I took my first dose of Dexedrine so as to monitor blood pressure. I don't know what other precautions can be taken, but I am aware of other doctors who prefer to monitor for an initial reaction to this sort of thing in the hospital. I think I came across some information regarding such combinations on this site and at Dr. Ivan Goldberg's Depression Central psychiatric website.

I GUESS IT'S UP TO YOU IF YOU WANT TO BELIEVE THIS
DRUG COMBO OR NOT; YOU MIGHT WANT TO RESEARCH IT
FURTHER. REBOXETINE MIXED WITH ALMOST ANY OTHER
DRUGS IS SAFE. THERE CAN BE PROBLEMS WITH DEXEDRINE
AND AN MAO LIKE NARDIL OR PARNATE, BUT A GOOD PSYCH. DOC
SHOULD BE ABLE TO MANAGE THIS FAIRLY EASILY.
REBOXETINE HAS BEEN USED SAFELY FOR ALMOST 2 YRS IN PARTS OF
EUROPE. JUST BECAUSE IT'S NOT FDA APPROVED YET DOES
NOT MAKE IT OFF LIMITS FOR THE AMERICAN CONSUMER.
A 3 MO. PERSONAL SUPPLY CAN BE ORDERED LEGALLY FROM LONDON.
JUST LET YOUR DOCTOR KNOW ABOUT IT BEFOREHAND TO MAKE SURE
HE/SHE IS IN AGREEMENT, THEN GO AHEAD AND ORDER IT.
NO RX IS NECESSARY WHICH PROTECTS YOUR DOC FROM ANY LIABILITY.JEFFREY
