Sorry to hear he died. I'm glad to hear you're okay.
From my experiences, most M.D.s don't feel very comfortable with psychiatrict drugs - especially if you want to try things like Naltrexone, and when you are not certain which disorder you have. But ask your doctor, maybe he/she would feel comfortable.
I had eating disorders for so long (from about the age of 12-26) - both anorexia and binge eating. Once I discovered and then treated my underlying disorders, my eating disorders just dissapated into thin air. As far as I can tell, bulimia is often a coping mechanism for living with another more powerful disorder, such as ADD-H, Borderline personality disorder, or manic depression. You sound like you're on the right track Sef.
