Cass,
I've had spotting between periods in the past due to extremely stressful events. I also had some spotting when I was about 34 and the gyno put me on the pill to stop that(after testing first for cancer). When I was taking Wellbutrin and ADDerall, I spotted between periods, well, I guess I still do, actually. My pdoc said it wasn't from the Wellbutrin, but I don't buy it. It is even listed as a possible side effect on the literaure HE gave to me. My gyno now has me take an extra birth control pill at the time I would spot, and this seems to work. He said not to worry about the spotting, that it is not harmful. It has something to do with the AD affecting the way my body metabolizes the hormones. At least I think I've got it at least close to right. When you're taking all this crap trying to help ADD symptoms of not concentratin and not paying attention to detail...who knows what he said;)
