Re: Celexa and its affect on periods

In reply to Celexa and its affect on periods, posted by Carmen on February 4, 2000, at 11:50:06

My periods started getting sporadic even before I started on celexa. I'm 43 and I just think it's related to approaching that time of life. I have been on just about every AD for the past 10 years and they have never impacted my periods very much. Although there may be a correlation for some, for me there has little impact.

Your OB/GYN will be able to check your hormone levels to see if yours are low and perhaps signifying "the change".
