I was on a different benzo- klonopin when I got pregnant. The research on this drug showed a slight (3%) increase in cleft palate defects, other papers showed no effect. I went from 4-6mgs/day to 0 in 2 weeks, with insomnia, panic attacks, and constant anxiety. This was a personal choice, my doctors did not push me. If you suspect you truly may be pregnant, start taking folic acid and speak to your dr. I wish you the best of luck.
