The knee problem didn't, tho, and I reinjured it and later had to have surgery. That did depress me. I felt myself going inward when I was physically limited. Not being able to take care of my life by myself made me feel powerless. I had to learn to let others help me.
Ouch! Donut, we thought we had it bad. That had to hurt, Noa. I had knee surgery in college, & have to have another one this summer (anterior cruciate ligament recon., & cartilage repair), & I'm not at all looking forward to it. Having to depend on others is, indeed, a humbling experience. It is a lot more difficult for me to recieve than to give; but it is necessary to attain a balance when it comes to this, isn't it? Anyway, I hope you never have to go through it again; & Donut, hope you're doing better as well. Take care!
