I started on the seroquel during zoloft. Was told it helped the Quality of sleep; that zoloft sometimes decreased a certain *stage* of sleep. As far as I know I'm an atypical,rapid-cycling bipolar.
I know it is anti-psychotic,but helps with a certain stage of sleep.Now that I'm not on zoloft sleep is even worse, but am very new on effexor EX and Remeron. I hope everything will settle down as I adjust.
I'd like to come off seruquel because of the possibility of hyperlipidemia. Hope I can eventually stop it due to strong family history of elevated triglycerides. etc.
