Klonopin I take for anxiety and to counteract some of the stimulant effect of the Neurontin, at a dose of 6mg/day. I have heard some talk about Ultram (tramadol) being used in conjunction with other meds in psychiatry. It supposedly augments Klonopin and Neurontin well.

James, Hi As I've posted before, I'm on Clonazepam and Neurontin. Both relatively new for me. Just 300 mg. Neurontin per day so far and Clonazepam as needed. Which seems I have to take it around 10am or when I've got some special thing to attend. I don't know anything about the other drug you mentioned. My psychiatrist just said yesterday that more is coming out about the good affects of Neurontin for social anxiety w/minimal side affects. I want to start a new thread for those suffering social anxiety. Maybe you'll have some good input. Have a good day! Carmen
