I take 25 mcg of Synthroid (T4) and 12.5 mcg of cytomel (T3) every day. It took about a week to see a difference, and the once or twice when I forgot to refill my scrip and stopped taking it, I noticed my mood worsen within 4-5 days. I am taking it continuously, probably forever, to augment effexor.
