questions about trichotillomania

hi, i'm 17 years old and have began showing signs of trich since i was 15 years old. i really don't know how this disorder began and i am interested in talking with some people who have the disorder and could talk to me about this. i don't see a therapist and as of now my mother is the only person who "knows" of my problem. please help
