PMS is the reason I take Celexa. (I had *severe* PMS.) And it's worked; my PMS is gone. But then again, I don't have depression. An interesting side note, the Celexa has no effect on me the two weeks after my period (I've found that it works best when taken daily). I've always wondered what AD's do to "normal" people. Perhaps nothing?
> > I've just had my 3rd cycle since being on Celexa. I have not felt so good in a long time. Except for the first and second day of my period. Meow. I am a raving bitch. I felt depressed all day yesterday and snappy and then this morning the recovering gail is back. Same thing last month. Is it possible that a woman's cycle is stronger than a ssri? Am I nuts?

I am disappointed about that, when the PMS started I felt like I was failing at recovering from this depression. I have only had two cycles on this drug and it has helped me so much except for those days before my period. It made me wonder if I should be on a higher dose or not. I like the responses to this already thanks
