See: www.ama-assn.org/sci-pubs/journals/archive/psyc/vol_56/no_5yoa8185.htm
(Arch Gen Psychiatry. 1999;56:407-412). This preliminary study showed promising results.

Omega 3's may be the next on my list. 9.6 grams/day is a lot of oil.

Does anyone know if there is anything to the notion that partially hydrogenated fats can block the metabolism of omega 3's? I am not enough of a biochemist and haven't done research to separate fact from fiction.
