I mean, I took a half a bottle of rolaids, maalox, and Gas-X and nothing moved it. I looked as if I was 5 months pregnant. I was under the impression that there weren't any side effects from the stuff, and I was one of the odd balls. Oh well, I'm glad that you posted that little bit of info.

We use it for horses, especially when we're stabling around sandy areas, and I swear by it. I take it myself, and can tell you that it helps with intestinal gas, constipation, and general "not feeling well in the innards" sorts of feelings. There are a ton of different products that contain it, including Metamucil, and it fixes all sorts of colics. (Honestly, we use it for horses prone to sand colic, gas colic, and just-plain-colic.) It also has been shown in some tests to lower serum cholesterol. Probably just because it empties everything out, but even if it doesn't fix your arteries, it will help with the bloating.
