Dave -- I have taken a variety of SSRI's with
elavil and doxepin. I just changed to celexa from paxil (SSRI poop-out?) I seem to be ok on celexa which I take in AM. I take the elavil in PM for fibromyalgia (standard part of FMS treatment)and doxepin in PM to help deeper stage of sleep. I am very "sensitive" to tricyclics (bad reactions)so I have to start tricyclics very low dosage (2mg) and increase very slowly. Once I'm at dosage, I'm ok. So, I do mix them and so do alot of FMS patients. hope this helps--jane
