Is that one of them Axis II disorders? Does it respond well to pharmaceutical intervention?

I'm sorry, Ron, but I couldn't help myself. I chuckled rather loudly at this one.

On a related topic, did you know that cynicism is the personality trait most associate with death by CVD? I wouldn't have written this had I not had a modicum of interest in your well-being. If you wish, I can produce citations.

I thought that some people would find this information interesting. Cynicism is bad for heart health in the same way that perfectionism is bad for brain health. Personally, I would not be surprised if cynicism were found to be equally damaging to one's psychobiology. In other words, I think cynicism and perfectionism can be mediators of the precipitation and persistence of depression.

Sign me up. I am happily heading to poor health and embracing my cynicism and overall mistrust of my fellow human beings.
I am working on perfecting my negative approach in dealing with individuals I encounter in my daily living.
I find that I am proven wrong often, which is surprising to me now.
There are many changes that are affecting me positively now that I have to decided to be honest with myself and others.
Hiding behind an image has not been healthy for me.
Not sure that I really contributed anything here.........carry on..........

Scott, are you certain that it's cynicism, or am I perhaps simply a realist?

Makes me think of Sister Ray.

Oh no, you shouldn't do that, don't you know you'll stain the carpet.

I know what you mean. I do pay a price for carrying a chip on my shoulder.

Most people, including myself, don't respond well to negative energy.

So be it, I am not a creation of my own. Negative energy has been thrown my way too.

I may have to adjust my pursuit of perfection.

Thanks for your interaction. Gives me a chance to mentally digest some of what I am thinking.

I feel better now. :)
