OK,
I am scared to death, i drank an energy drink earlier today at work with 2 expresso shots.
I drank another one and accidently took a over the counter sleep aid, diphenyhine? i thought it was stupid pain medication (tylenol)
Ok i feel im moving back forwards, im going in and out, my thinking is bezaar, im very racketing, i feel im "out", this is terror.Should i take Zyprexa (antipsychotic) 7.5-10mg?
im on 2.5 but im afraid, i hate antipsychotics, but this will have to do, to calm this psydelic thing that is happening. Its going away now.
Is this permenent? im paranoid, i feel very mentally unstable,What should i do?

Matt I don't think it's serious. You have a lot of caffeine in you. And what did you say benadryl? I would just take you're regular meds and wait for the caffeine to wear off. And don't do it again. Caffeine gives me panic attacks. Which is probably what you are experiencing with the calm drug trying to make you sleepy. Anyone else think anything different . I'm not a doctor? Love Phillipa ps you could call the ER and just tell them what you took and see what they say.

I found I get hyper from diphenyhine, even though it's supposed to be a sleep aid. Maybe you too? Can you go to a pharamacist for advice in the case you are reluctant to immediately call your doctor? I'm sure this could not possibly permanent, by the way. But maybe the pharmacist could suggest a way to calm the reaction down. Or call if you are reluctant to go out in this state-I bet the number is on any of your prescription bottles.Good luck.

Calm down ... it will go away. You said you are already feeling better. You haven't done any damage. Try to distract yourself with something.

you feeling better today?
Didn't you have a post a few months ago about feeling crazy on Rockstar energy drinks? Maybe the over-caffeination is too much for your system. You may have been able to tolerate more caffeine in the past, but perhaps you should take it easy and figure out what the best dose is. I react differently to caffeine now that I'm on meds. It doesn't stimulate me as much, and so I was drinking way too much coffee and soda and redbull, and instead of getting a mental boost, I was getting a lot of anxiety, heart racing and feeling really sick. Some visual distortions too.let us know how you're feeling, okay?

It gone away completely. I thought it was going it was going to stay that way. I was so, omg, i had never had an on going panic. I thought was going to have to take 10mg of Zyprexa, because it was a psychedelic feeling, i was trying to just lay down, i thought i would go into a coma with the drug reaction. I tell you thats how bad it was.
It stopped about an hour after they sort of wore off, i was back to my old self, but i had to sleep, throught all that crap.
Xanax i was afraid would worsen it.
Good thing im back im neve taking that many stimulants again in one day again. And "look" at the bootle and if it says "pm" not to take it.
Thanks. I didnt want to tell my psychician because i looked so incredibly drugged out, and plus i couldnt drive anyways.

I think what you took was Tylenol PM (diphenhydramine). That is what I take for sleep aid but I only take half. Maybe a little nap today wouldn't be all bad. Hope you are ok.

>Matt, with your condition and the meds you take, do you really think all that Caffiene is a good idea? Many energy drinks contain various herbs and supplements that can effect your mood and have a bad interaction with many psychotropic meds. My advice is think before you do something like this again!! All that Caffiene and "stuff" in those energy drinks can have a horrible effect on anybody. Be safe bud! And remember moderation is the key.
