The Cat That Ate The Canary

Posted by Joan797 on April 20, 2006, at 22:30:48

The cat may gag on the feathers, but he continues to seek out and prey on other canarys.

It's the nature of the BEAST.

Preying on the weaker species is nature's way of survival of the fittest.

I feel very unfit.

Sometimes the canary, having been chased and preyed upon so much, tends to put every other creature on the suspect list and trusts noone.

Sometimes the canary dies, not directly from the cat's claws, but from the constant fear and loathing of the cat. Sometimes the canary never turns to other canarys for safety and suport.

But the cat knows there is a canary on every corner, so he shrugs his shoulders and moves along down the street. Knowing full well he scared that canary to death.
