Too Late

RAILROAD FLATS

Go ahead and love some one
Then watch her die.
And then it's him who's late
for the sky.

And these rails lead no where.
Still you gotta try
Our's to reason and not know why
But it's so god*d empty

I don't know why its too late. But its beautiful. It shows so much love and insight. It touched me which sounds totally cornball, but it did. I don't know why. Mebbe cuz I would be so honored if someone wrote that way about me when i passed, that I was valued. I would be glad that the one who loved me and wrote it knew that 'still you gotta try'. That would make me happy. Thanks for sharing that.
