My mother left us when I was a girl...
I was 15, she would have left sooner I'm sure but she waiting until I was "old" enough
She didn't say anything...just l e f t.
8 years later, I still go through that dayShe phones on holidays - sometimes
I tried but gave UP.
She WORKS WORKS WORKS.
Doesn't care about my life...
I say "I love you" when i get the nerve...
she doesn't.
It's hard to pretend that it doesn't hurt.
It does. Oh god it hurts.
What did i do wrong?

It's the samo, samo....what did I do wrong to make my husband see other women? younger women? I tried so hard to please him.......very good poem....

The answer is NOTHING, of course. I'm glad you are writing and hoping that through the poems you will see that it isn't you or anything you did.
