> twinchTwinch, get yourself to an AA meeting - there are oodles of them around, and even if alcohol is not your drug of choice, it is a good place to start with help and the principles are the same as many other self help groups.
Go to your doctor and tell him/her what's happening, and get into a detox program.
If you're a church goer, call on your minister and tell him/her of your problem.
There really IS help all around us. Taking that first step in asking for it is critical, but you can do it.

Clear Skies is right--reach out for help. You can also contact out-patient programs--sometimes they can get you in right of way. That's what I did.
Asking for help is a huge step and can lead you to a better life. Please try.

You posted before.. you have to help yourself too.. we are here to listen and give any good advise we have but you are the one dealing with it and we can only do so much.. People do want to help you but since this is the internet you have to go out and do what you need to do to get sober..Look in the phone book and you will find centers under addiction in the yellow pages.. Go to AA.. they are everywhere and a good start..
