Never Will Say Good-Bye, Michael

Posted by Fivefires on July 8, 2009, at 1:49:27

I've been here 'not lurking' but keeping watch over friends here, but w/o the capability (I thought.) to post. I've been glad to see some of my friends doing well, better, and I'm sorry if I've missed any tragedies. No; not what my post is about. I needed to say. Thank you.

Been cryin' at a sweet voice and simple answers to questions from the media in clips v the anti-establishment words of tunes, soul-stirring great dance which, I feel, could have left easily some spinal cord damage, and a voice he wrapped around the words of songs, simple, kind, to out-spoken!

I'm 'stuck' @ how such a soft spoken, kind, caring 'man?' was able pull so much creativity from his core. Was it money, advisors? I'd like believe, in the end, he put the final awesome touches on suggestions of colleagues(sp?).

Admit I'm paying more attn to him in death than life, but know not alone.

The performance he was rehearsing for the day or night before shows how he had the foresight and kindness to really share center stage with his accompanying dancers, musicians, walking behind them, zooming in next to them, going from behind them to in front of them, never really putting ALL the focus on himself and this is admirable.

I don't care if he wished to spend his money to look the way he wished. Hard to hear dirty laundry.

Maybe you've seen pic' of he and one of his babies. He's doing just what I would do w/ my child 'in the buck maybe just out of a bath', covering his private parts. Idk the truth; I didn't pay attn to the trials; but to lie on a large bed and sleep or cuddle w/ a person you trust and love, like a child, if this is all it was, .. I'm guilty as charged.

To friends here who are feeling like I, sad at loss of brilliant person, tortured yeah, creator and performer yeah, I'm on board.

Me, feeling 'real' and ok I guess, letting things go to an angel I'm calling night-n-gale today as have dr appt w/ new PCP re back pain at a time whole world cautious re: narcotics from the FDA, DEA, Michael.

As all ways, best wishes and hope we learn a little more about ourselves and never say good-bye ..

and: If need be, pls transfer this post to proper area DEPUTIES? Thank you.

I think it's fine on either Grief or Social.

Of course, Social gets more traffic. Would you like it moved there?

Sleeping with children

I'll admit, my admiration of Micheal grew after his death. I admired his dance already, though it took me several years to see it through the filter of pop music and pop culture. His singing -- not so much once he grew up. As a kid, he had an amazingly mature voice.

Until he grew up and started singing along with Nicole Richie's dad that "we are the children."

Analysis of his lost childhood is widely available, and pretty well accepted in texts and mass media as biographical explanation for his quixotic style. His soft voice and kind outward expression can be seen as largely a product of his milieu. He was number one a performer. What lurks beneath -- that's the wonder of art -- we get to appreciate the expression as pure not matter how flawed the producer might be.

But sleeping with children, as he readily and repeatedly admitted to doing? What if, in fact, he never did anything other than what he claimed? Read them a story, tucked them in and basically played babysitter, albeit billionaire superstar babysitter.

No harm done, right?

No matter how pure the motives an adult male -- or female -- baby sitter I might hire, I don't want them under the covers with my child past the age of two or three. Once my child develops language skills, I need them to learn -- and I need other trusted adults to teach them -- how to use language skills to meet intimate needs. Did Michael explain to these kids "tonight I'm like your daddy, but you can't just jump into bed with any superstar your mommy hands you over to, because not all of them are as kind as myself?"

There's the problem. If Michael could be trusted under the covers with pre-teen, post-toddler children, his behavior implied to his young charges that adults could be trusted in such a situation. He encouraged those kids to lower their boundaries to levels that may not be safe for children when the lessons they need going into their teen years was probably more about raising and defending boundaries.

Did those kids parents teach them the difference in a super-kind man like michael and a super-kind-talking man who would use exactly the same approach to get them in bed for some other purpose?

If that's all there was to Michael's bedtime with young boys, whose needs was he meeting? His own need to have contact with childhood such as he never got to enjoy, or his guests need to have a childhood where they learned to live with boundaries that could assure their safety in most situation.

I'm of the impression he had a troubled childhood and chose to try and remain a child himself. But did he want to remain a child as he married had supposedly two children and then adopted another. Yes a great performer. But to hang your child out a window. I am sorry the risk to the child was greater to me than his need for whatever he was doing. And Farrah is forgotten in the Micheal death. This lady I have always admired. I do wonder if we will ever hear the real story on his demise after autopsy. So many narcotics and I guess depression with two ad's on board. He was a fine performer. Poor Farrah (seriously) 'didn't want to go'. Ryan said it on MSNBC or somewhere. I can imagine how this would feel, usually.

But, this morning, realized Im such a freak,

I wish to join them,

No plan that would really work though, and no failed attempt.

Shouldn't say this here? I'm not important.

I do know you, only you all, will listen and not push me away or trick me.

(Nothing looks right. Idk why others are seeing things or judging, but they're diagnoses of me and my intentions are becoming all too often incorrect. Cannot stand to hear 'I don't know what you're talking about' one more time! I've never seen it so clearly. I feel so ashamed and embarrassed. I seem to be outnumbered here IRL about how I appear or what are my intentions. I'm p*ssed. I just let a long loved one fly away from me, for them. I did this to me. F never stood for freak before now.)

Glad your're posting again. Farrah was lovely I feel very badly for her. I realize your're lonely but two years so far you've made it and don't think I personally could. Love Phillipa

Tks K!!!!! I've missed you!

I'm ok now. Ya' know, I get a little overly dramatic now and then. (Ya' think?) It's difficult ending such a long relationship, actually it's grieving and sobbing and not eating and not GAS and wishing you had a scrip for some Fukitols, butt, it's the right thing to do, not all the prior emotional cr*p (wash my mouth out with soap somebutty!), but to move on and if my angels guide me in the right direction there will be a partner for me to love and trust in my future. Though there is pain, this feels right.

I'm getting my pc back in working order. I finally got good protection. Had thousands of emails to go through and spam or unspam or block or unblock or put on the white or black list.

It seems like every day am dealing w/ the law re: violations of the O*P. The ICM just isn't getting it. As well, I've got some physical issues I'm dealing with; some getting better; some just getting scheduled to begin to get better.

I can't imagine how I managed my life when I was working. I've been awake all night, so it's time to head to my corner and the sheep. (There are sheep there. They're on my blankie. The black ones have to stay down by my feet.

-_-... yes I need some shuteye.

best wishes all,

5f (I know! I typed F5 before. I didn't do it on purpose. I remember kept looking at it thinking 'I haven't posted in a long time cuz that looks funny?'. Then, later, thought about it and realized what I'd done.)
