Do you like the show House? Look herer laugh!

Posted by jaclinhyde on September 23, 2006, at 21:55:39

Oh boy....LMAO, even if you don't watch House you have got to see this blooper reel from the show. I still find it so damn amazing that Hugh Laurie is british and can morph himself into an american accent with such ease. Even when he screws up he stays in character and doesn't switch to his normal accent.

Anyway, you just have to see this!

Enjoy!

That should read "Look here and laugh!"

Geez, I guess I was just laughing too hard! ;-)

I love House. Thanks for the really funny link. Hugh Laurie is a wonderful actor whether he's doing an American accent or his native accent. Plus he's cute, too.

What I find so amazing about him too is that he is a humble genius. He has written a novel that has just been picked up by MGM to be made into a movie, he has written a bunch of songs, plays piano, acoustic guitar, slide guitar, harmonica and the saxophone, can do comedy and drama, graduated from two prestigious schools (Cambrige and Eton) with a degree in archeology/anthropology.) His father won a gold metal in rowing and was a real doctor. His mom used to beat him as a child.

All in all an amazing man.

Btw, his eyes are really THAT blue ;-)

Dot was funny!

I might actually have to watch House now. I just kinda don't like medical dramas. Scare me-- but the cast looks really good!

Thanks!

Jost, House combines humor and drama. The character of House that Hugh Laurie plays with such brillance is like Sherlock Holmes and his crew are all his Watson's. He is a pill popping damaged character who you love to hate and hate to love (but you do anyway.) There has never been another TV doc like him (Marcus Welby he ain't lol!)

Just watch it once and you will be hooked.

If you want to see just how brilliant Hugh Laurie is check out this song he wrote and performed on Inside the Actors Studio....

I still hum it....

"Dead since 1993.....
You've been dead now, wait a minute let me see
Fourteen years next January
As a human being you are history..."

LOL!

That's hysterical.

I loved the part where he sings,"...I'd be foolish to ignore the possibility.. that if we'd ever actually met, you'd have taken a really violent dislike to me..."

A lounge lizard--not!

I will definitely check the show out.
