Jost, House combines humor and drama. The character of House that Hugh Laurie plays with such brillance is like Sherlock Holmes and his crew are all his Watson's. He is a pill popping damaged character who you love to hate and hate to love (but you do anyway.) There has never been another TV doc like him (Marcus Welby he ain't lol!)
Just watch it once and you will be hooked.
If you want to see just how brilliant Hugh Laurie is check out this song he wrote and performed on Inside the Actors Studio....

I still hum it....
"Dead since 1993.....
You've been dead now, wait a minute let me see
Fourteen years next January
As a human being you are history..."LOL!
