I haven't had much experience w/these, and am thinking they could be happeening b/c I stopped wearing my glasses 2 days ago (need new script) and I've been reading about 10 hours a day, half of that on computer screen. Also have mild headache and eyes are red and itchy. Hallucinations are just black blobs and flashes, no forms or satanic apparitions. Started around 1 am, black blobs getting more pronounced and frequent since. If this sounds like something to be concerned about I'd appreciate a response, otherwise I'll rest my eyes a spell.
thanks

Doesnt sound like what would usually be called hallucinations. Hope resting your eyes helps- if not, maybe worth seeing a doctor about (not anything urgent, tho, I would guess).

Good old regular floaters. Once you get use to them try playing ping pong with them, though not when you are driving.
Give your eyes a rest sounds like a good idea.

Now I don't want to be an alarmist but...Sudden onset of lots of floaters can be a sign of retinal detachment. Please talk to your doctor.
