question about visual hallucinations

I haven't had much experience w/these, and am thinking they could be happeening b/c I stopped wearing my glasses 2 days ago (need new script) and I've been reading about 10 hours a day, half of that on computer screen. Also have mild headache and eyes are red and itchy. Hallucinations are just black blobs and flashes, no forms or satanic apparitions. Started around 1 am, black blobs getting more pronounced and frequent since. If this sounds like something to be concerned about I'd appreciate a response, otherwise I'll rest my eyes a spell.
