drawing as an outlet

I'm just curious, does anybody draw or paint or do something relating to art to help them express their emotions, or as part of therapy or anything of the sort? I enjoy creativity though my ddrawings can be pretty negative, but i am interested if anyone else does this and finds it helpful.

Hi Mmealltalk,

Hey I think it's great that you draw, even if your drawings are negative! It helps you to express what's inside, helps you to vent/ know yourself better. What kind of stuff do you draw? What do you draw with?

I actually bring a painting to my therapist every session like a show and tell. I decided to do it, she didn't ask me to. It's really fun, we talk about it. I put symbolic stuff into my paintings to express feelings about therapy.
