i am going to hijack this thread a bit and turn a negative insight into a positive one.
it's interesting that sometimes the posts seem about similar topics...but the funny part is, is that is Exactly what's needed.
i mean 5 months ago people were probably talking about anger outbursts or integrations and i may have bi-passed them because then didn't pertain to what was happening in the moment to me.
now, that's all i can seem to focus on because it is affecting me in my life right now.and of course you see common threads about dealing with T transference and things...because it happens to different posters at different times, and we all need support from others with experience. or to feel that we are not odd, or unlovable.
and about the "mememe" thing. its SO true that we post about ourselves and our worries and fears and pain. but that is SO what we need here. most of us (though i don't want to speak for everyone) never really had that growing up..or even in our current lives. and here, here we find comradere, and compassion and understanding.
people that can say, yes, you infact ARE hurting quite badly and i understand and its ok to feel that.
and that's pretty much what therapy is. it is initially a selfish thing...but how can we possibly the best mother, sister, daughter, friend if we can't be the best ME.so lets work on our ME's.
lets talk about things Over and over until its out of our systems.
and lets do it with others who understand and care!b2c.

WOW
When I don't like something I have the freedom not to partake in it. If people don't like what they read on babble then they don't have to read it.
Take what you like and leave the rest. No one told you you have to be here.
Sorry- you have such an attitude?!?!?!

I don't see it as posting the same old "sh*t" I see it as people with similar experiences, feelings and thoughts looking to talk to others who can identify.
Yes, I've posted about CSA, depression, etc. before, but they are not going to go away on their own.

Please be sensitive to the feelings of others even if yours are hurt.
But please don't take this personally, this doesn't mean I don't like you or think you're a bad person.
If you or others have questions about this or about posting policies in general, or are interested in alternative ways of expressing yourself, please first see the FAQ:
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#civil
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#enforceFollow-ups regarding these issues should be redirected to Psycho-Babble Administration. They, as well as replies to the above post, should of course themselves be civil.
Thanks,
Bob

Dr. Bob,
I see why the comment LadyBug made was picked up (although I understand her motivation for writing this).
However, surely it follows to caution Scentedgarden on similar grounds?
" its a sad place 99% full of crap posts. "
If I would write that a given post was crap (a direct criticism of a given poster) - I would expect to be cautioned - likewise, surely it is equally insensitive to criticise the majority of the posts as being 'crap' (and hence criticising the majority of posters to this board - there are of course posters who have written more than 1% of the posts on this board)?
This thread has upset me somewhat but what has upset me more is that LadyBug has been cautioned yet Scentedgarden's post has gone without comment. It seems unfair in my opinion.

Hi there, I wanted to let you know that I sent a notification regarding that particular post, but was told by a deputy that SG had already been blocked on another thread. It does raise the question (for me) though, whether if someone has been blocked for one action, other posts made at or around the same time should be considered as well, since they are also uncivil, IMO. That is - should multiple incivilities compound a person's block? And, if this is the case, should it be noted on the thread so that the incivility is flagged as being caught?ClearSkies

Thanks for standing up for me and I have to agree with what you said. I meant no harm, I was angry. Something I try to stay away from here but it's not the first time I felt a certain person has been out too critical. I will let it go but now I am hurt by the warning from Dr. Bob.
I have all the hurt in my life I can handle right now. :o(

Are you referring to me clearsky's? I'm so sorry for any hurt I may have caused, that's the last thing I'd do to anyone.
I have more than enough of my own pain going on right now. :o(

Whoosh, thank goodness, I was worried so I'm glad you let me know. Thanks. I'd never hurt anyone.
