My homework from my T is to do something I HAVE to or NEED to do, and to do something I want to do. Since I am depressed, this seems so hard to
do anything, but I at least try to do 2 things.Well today I reordered checks at the bank ( I know it cost more) and had the bank give me some starter checks to do the bills with.
Then I went flower shopping today. I bought a flat that I plan on planting this weekend. It gets me outside, and that normally makes me feel better.
Tommorrow I must water my indoor plants. Okay that is a good start. Maybe clean the living room.

I went to lunch with my co-workers, does that count? It was fun!
I'm looking for a place for me and my teenage daughter to live, I checked in the news paper and on line. That is good for my mental health, I need to get away from my husband. I pray I find something soon. While I still have some sense of myself.
I'm sitting on my deck right now, that counts, I love being outside sitting on my deck, the temperature is just right. I have a 3 day weekend, it's payday, it's as good as I can make it today!
I want to go to dinner with my daughters tonight. That is always good for my mental health.
I thought about my T today and the visit I had with her yesterday. It was very positive and so helpful for me. I needed that right now! My life couldn't get much worse than it is. My marriage is over, finances are a disaster and I need to find a place to live that I can afford.
Good topic!

HF, what type of flowers did you buy? It sounds like a positive day.
I went to T this afternoon - it went better than last time. Spent the morning tidying a bit (also have a messy living room hanging over me which I might tackle tomorrow - fun, fun). The rest of the day was filled with reading (am reading 'The Fall' by Camus) and playing the harp.
Do any of you play a musical instrument? For me it's a kind of meditation.
Ok, now I am imagining you singing to the flowers :)

Um... I went into work (my internship) for a few hours, I didn't really get any work done, though.
My T said she would [check] email today, so I waited for an email from my her, but never got one. I considered sending her the email about the realization I had.
I don't think there's anything good in any of that...
Um.... I took my daily "mental health" meds this morning, does that count?
This is the end of the thread.
