From article:
"Far from being an indelible recording, human memory is fragile, incomplete, malleable and highly subject to suggestion, researchers have shown in dozens of studies."

well, if my memory serves me right, we went down this memory thingy before. Question - who are we without our memory?

Yes, but we also know that there are memories that are not at the forefront of our conscious thinking. We can be passing a location (I did it this weekend actually) that we had been to many years before and have memory "jogged" that had been tucked away.
So, if you put this knowledge with the statememt you just made, the question of the factual nature of the memory should be "judged" by *how* the memory came forth. Leading the witness, as they say in court, would certainly be highly suspect. But other cases of 'omigod I just remembered something' can be true 'remembering.'
I look forward to your answer.
BTW, did you look at the thread I pointed you to on admin? You *do* have people here that want to be cyber-friends.
This is the end of the thread.
