Yes, but we also know that there are memories that are not at the forefront of our conscious thinking. We can be passing a location (I did it this weekend actually) that we had been to many years before and have memory "jogged" that had been tucked away.

So, if you put this knowledge with the statememt you just made, the question of the factual nature of the memory should be "judged" by *how* the memory came forth. Leading the witness, as they say in court, would certainly be highly suspect. But other cases of 'omigod I just remembered something' can be true 'remembering.'

BTW, did you look at the thread I pointed you to on admin? You *do* have people here that want to be cyber-friends.
