My doctor said I had slightly high triglycerides and mentioned a B vit. suppliment I could take that would help, but I forgot which one. I thought it was B3, but I can't find that one, it had an official name too that I recognized, but I forgot that too.
Maybe I need a vitamin for memory problems instead. lol

Niacin is vitamin B3 (specifically, the nicotinic acid form of niacin.) It can help with tryglycerides. don't get a time-released, those could possibly be hard on the liver. if you ahve flushing, make sure you're well hydrated.
I'd say a couple of grams of EPA+DHA from fish oil and getting a few thousand IUs of Vitamin D3 is just as important, if you haven't started those already. Maybe it was D3 mentioned. Well, both are useful.

Your doctor probably mentioned niacin, best taken for this condition in the form of inositol hexanicotinate, although the above article calls it niacin hexaniacinate.
