Niacin is vitamin B3 (specifically, the nicotinic acid form of niacin.) It can help with tryglycerides. don't get a time-released, those could possibly be hard on the liver. if you ahve flushing, make sure you're well hydrated.
I'd say a couple of grams of EPA+DHA from fish oil and getting a few thousand IUs of Vitamin D3 is just as important, if you haven't started those already. Maybe it was D3 mentioned. Well, both are useful.
