For a while now I have been battling with sneezing, itchy and runny nose and some eye swelling etc.
Over the last few days it seems to have gotten worse. I have never suffered allergies of any sort in all my life so have felt quite strange with this.
I am trying not to deduce that it may be my 9 month old Mexican Chiauhuah pup who literally sleeps on my arms, in front of the keyboard, as I type.
I am quite tired today from waking up every so often last night ...... to .......... umm ........... sneeze.
Anyway - I finally relented to taking an anti-histamine about an hour ago. Sneezing seems to have stopped but the itchy nose remains. Besides being sore from all the blowing. And I sound like I have a peg on it most of the time.
Just a ramble.

I read somewhere that pets with very short coats produce a lot of dander, to which allergies can develop. I think I would put up with a lot of allergic symptoms in exchange for the unconditional love that a pet gives. Try the antihistamine for a few days, the results should improve.

hi Sabrina,
I hope it's not your doggie!Have you considered seeing an allergist? They can do a panel of tests and determine exactly what you're allergic to. They can test you for all the trees and shrubs that live in your area, as well as cat/dog, and lots of foods. At least you'd know.
I have a LOT of allergies, so I'm very sympathetic to you. I hope it turns out to be a cold or something that will go away.
good luck!
