All,
For most of my life, I've been average weight and never really had to watch my eating or anything. As I enter my 30s, I find I have gained 15-20 extra pounds and want to lose some weight and develop a better lifestyle before I get too far gone. It is very very difficult. I am frusrrated at not seeing results and not knowing what to do to maximize weight loss chances. Any encouragement and help wpuld be appreciated. Thanks!

It's easy peasy if you're not fussy about your food. This is what I did. Eat only lean protein, and a reasonable amount of it, vegetables (excepting potatoes), fruit (excepting bananas, maybe). That's kinda it. No starches, no manufactured food etc etc, go easy on the grains. Naturally I don't follow this religiously, it's more a guideline.
Actually I was thinking of a new years diet...raw fish, green tea, vodka and substances. It has a nice abstemious effective feel.
