>The health dept. did the tests that my P doc. ordered due to my insurance situation and sent my results w/ a referral to see an endocrinologist but the TSH is considered on the low of *normal*? My T3 and T4's are too high or low so I am confused. Any input?

Usually doctors go by the TSH. At least, this is my experience. They get an initial TSH, which if over 5.5 (or your lab's limit) then they give you Synthroid. A low end of normal TSH is good--that is what is normal in healthy people. Maybe someone could help you more if you posted your results with the lab ranges.

Thx~ My T4 is high at the end of the spectrum, T3 is below normal, THS is at the lowest end of spectrum, and the Free T4 is at the lowest part of the spectrum. The fatigue and hair loss were the two symptoms that got my attention b/c i figured I wasn't losing the remaining weight from my pregnancy b/c I am so fatigued, I sleep 18 hours a day. The added Wellbutrin is helping some but I still feel fatigued. Thx again.
