sick sick sick symptoms candida question

Posted by iforgotmypassword on October 16, 2005, at 12:54:45

sorry for a nonsense post again, but im quite sick and my paralysis is even even worse. i think im going to take some desipramine.

but i have a symptom sometimes when im sick, that often when i complain about it people say they've never gotten it in their lives... in fact the only person who knew exactly what i was talking about and got it herself was my mum (she called them purple belches), and she had so many of the same psychological paralysis i have... (to a great degree i think thats what killed her)

the symptom i get is absolutely awful even 1000% worse than rotten egg smells that i get when i have a constant need to burp... they are so bad that i have to hold my breath after having them if i cant run away from it. in bed i have to get up burp right up in the air and then mash my face to hide in my pillow... this awfulness applies to flatulence as well. blech. it is just so so so overwhelmingly foul. its like my stomach inside is rotting. it's so humiliating knowing my body can create such awful putrid odour.

i also sometimes get it (though lesser) when i binge eat and sometimes even spontaneously. is it like the food is crammed and rotting inside of me? i read these symptoms being related to candida, is this possible as a marker? any input wold me awesome thanx!! xoxoxox

exactly, rotten eggs is usually fermentation, and usually candida. i had it in my pee/poop. I used diflucan and nystatin to rid myself of the systemic candida problem. ask your doctor about this.

There's this thing here, a parasite called guardia, which gives infected people flatulant flavoured burps.

But assuming you don't have that and you have candida here's what I did
1. Eat only the following: Fresh or cooked fruit and vegetables with the emphasis on vegetables, except potatoes, and a decent seving of protein with each meal.
2. Take low dose nyastatin for an extended period. I took it for a year or so.
3. Take probiotics for an extended period.
4. No sugar, manufactured food of any sort

The protocol for getting rid of candida is easy to come by. Initially it's more strict than the above.

Rotten egg smell is specifically hydrogen sulfide, which is a byproduct of friendly and non-friendly bacterial fermentation... i guess candida, too, but candida is a fungus and I don't know that any fungus can create hydrogen sulfide as a byproduct of fermentation, but i might be wrong. Ppl with ulcerative colitis have an increased quantity of these bacteria. Also, certain acute infectious bacteria can create these odors.

I'd try an anticandida diet and go that route while also getting checked for pathogens, including giardia.

Check out this page, part of great smokies laboratories website for candida:

http://www.gsdl.com/home/assessments/finddisease/depression/digestive_function.html

I haven't had any of these tests done, but I've wanted to for a while now... just haven't gotten around to it cuz its somewhat costly and I'm somewhat lazy. Check out this page, too for candida:

http://www.greatplainslaboratory.com/yeast.htm

For other pathogens, your doctor can run tests for giardia for example, but you might have to push him a little and maybe even switch docs a few times. Unfortunately, some pathogens don't show up on the first test. There's this one pathogen called D. Fragilis, where I've heard of people getting 10 of the exact same test until they finally found it.
