Folks,
This morning I was cleaning with Ajax (with bleech), using a small hand-held sponge. I then, without washing my hand, opened and removed from their contains some of my daily vitamins, and washed them down with some water. Is it possible I could get neurological damage if the Ajax on my hand had come in contact with the pills before I swallowed them?
Sounds like I'm overreacting, but ...

with such a small amount its unlikely anything will happen, except vomiting perhaps, which is good.
if ever unsure, call poisin control and they can advise you nicely.

hi AMD, You're OK. :)
bleach is a basic solution. In strong concentrations, bases can cause burns and tissue damage similar to that caused by acids.
However, in such a tiny amount that might have been on your hands, there would be no real issues, I don't think. If your hands don't have issues, your insides shouldn't either!
If you're worried about it, you should definitely call a poison control center (as another poster suggested) and ask for advice.
Be careful with those cleaning products! :)
