If you figure that one out you'd better patent it!!

My father used to for years tell me to just jog and I would feel better. The result was that I would get traumatized because I felt so guilty and lazy that I would hysterically cry for an hour or so and be even more immobilised. I guess that was my exorcise.
You'd figure after a few years he would have caught on. He still thinks it but stays quite mostly. He has mellowed.

Exactly! I've been managing to keep it up (treadmill 30min/day 5 days/week) for almost 4 months now, but this has been a problem for me in the past (sticking with an exercise regimen). I do think it helps a bit, but I think I need a little something more, which I have not found yet.

Thatis really something that you are able to do this. At my best when I was not so severely depressed I could not make myself routinely exorsise.

Great!

Well, what worked for me in the short term was hiring a personal trainer. My plan was to use the trainer to get the pump primed, so to speak, and then continue under my own steam. Continuing with the trainer beyond 3 months was not in the budget. Unfortunately, I didn't follow through for several reasons. So much for the second part of the plan. But I think the underlying concept is good. It helps having someone to report to or be committed to exercising with. My mom has since offered to pay for 3 months with a personal trainer again. Well, she offered 5 months ago... you see how motivated I am!
